helter skelter

The Beatles. Either you love them or hate them. I lean more toward the love side. I think that one of their greatest abilities was adaptation and evolution. That is really what made them so influential for so long, when so much of the world was changing.

"Helter Skelter" is a perfect example of that. Paul McCartney wrote it because he wanted to yell, something he never did in his music before, and that in itself changed a lot of things.

SONG OF THE DAY: "Helter Skelter" - The Beatles
HIGHLIGHTED COVER: "Helter Skelter" - Siouxie & the Banshees

"Helter Skelter" - Autolux

"Helter Skelter" - Hüsker Dü(sorry no links...you just have to own it or take my word for it)
