The Nightblooms - The Nightblooms

The Nightblooms are a highly underrated, practically unknown Dutch shoegazer band. Like the Cocteau Twins and Lush, The Nightblooms are female-fronted, lovely and ethereal, and for me, equally as important in the genre because they were just as talented if not as early or well known. They also can really rock, not just languish and moan like some shoegazers.

The band was active from the late 1980s -1996 when they broke up, released 3 albums (1 was a live performance) as well as a Peel Session. I really like their sound and only wish they had produced more.
