I woke up singing to myself, which always means a clearly defined song of the day.
A lot of people murmured against Oasis back in the day, saying they were overly-hyped, untalented, overplayed, blah blah blah. There was also that bickering over who was better, Oasis or Blur, like some hipster playground rivalry. I've always subscribed to the theory that they were different enough that it didn't matter.
That's just me because I totally love 90's Britpop. Oasis, Blur, Suede, Elastica, the Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets, The Stone Roses, Lush, St. Etienne, The La's, The Boo Radleys...I'm a complete sucker as my wallet from college could corroborate.
