My friends Scary Larry and Jen X have been making these passing remarks about White Lies for a few weeks now and in their playlist contest submissions (hurry and get yours in!), they both included songs, so I finally got up off my proverbial backside and listened to them. Unsurprisingly, I love them already.
I am starting with their newest album which just came out this past week and working backwards. The lead singer (whose name I don't even know yet) has a fabulous deep voice that is just so cozy and reassuring. This is my favorite song so far, and the video is crazy cool.
